Zasha's just fine today, and celebrated by gnawing on my wrist by way of saying goodmorning.
Unfortunately, since I have no financial issue with the vet, complaining seems to be next to impossible, but a friend whose mom's a vet just pointed me in the direction of the vets association, so I'm going to write the whole sorry story to them.
I got an explanation, of sorts, from the vet, who said; "I shouldn't have taken on the extra patients when my colleague went to the hospital, yesterday." You think?!? You should've rescheduled what wasn't time-sensitive and taken it from there! Neither my Zasha's vaccine nor the neuter that came after was a question of life and death! :-(
